Shipping:

For your convenience, The San Rafael Auction Gallery offers optional in-house shipping on certain non-fragile small to medium items via USPS Priority Mail to the United States only.

In-house shipping insurance is mandatory on all in-house shipments at a rate of 1.5% of your invoice total.

We make every possible effort to avoid shipping damage claims. For damage in transit resulting in total loss, insurance covers the refund of your winning bid amount, buyer’s premium and any sales tax collected, but NOT your shipping and insurance cost.

International in-house shipping is not available. International bidders, please be prepared to make arrangements with a 3rd party shipper of your choice (below is a list of shippers our customers have used before).

If you do not want to use our optional in-house shipping, or our in-house shipping is not available for a lot you have won, you must acquire 3rd party shipping services.

Please provide the shipper with our auction lot number for the item(s) and insurable value (the amount you paid) and the destination address.

Buyers may make independent arrangements with any shipper that they choose. Buyer pays all packing, shipping, and associated costs directly to their chosen shipper.

You Can Bid Live Online

All of our auctions occur in house and online. Our auctions can be viewed approximately 10 days prior to an auction through our online provider, Live Auctioneers. First time bidders will need to create a free Live Auctioneers account to bid with us online.
